Surgical Mask

We are thrilled to be reopening our clinic starting Tuesday, May 5th! We ask for your patience and support as we work through the details of reopening.

We ask that if you are sick, have a sore throat, cough, or have possibly been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, please postpone your appointment.

In an effort to provide eye care and limit exposure, we will be implementing a few new policies to protect our patients and staff:

  1. Prior to your appointment, you will be directed to fill out your personal medical history via our patient portal.  This will help to reduce exposure and allow us to perform your exam more efficiently. Once you confirm your appointment, you will be able to login and fill out the medical history questionnaire. Please fill this out prior to your appointment.

  2. When you arrive for your appointment, please call our office at 479-903-7393 to check-in. We will let you know when it is your turn to enter the clinic as we are throughly cleaning between each patient.

  3. We ask that you wear a mask to your appointment.  A mask is required for your appointment per the Arkansas Department of Health.

  4. We will perform a COVID-19 screening questionnaire and temperature check prior to you entering the clinic.  If you show any signs or symptoms, we will promptly reschedule your appointment.

  5. Upon entering the clinic, your appointment will begin immediately.  This is done to help practice social distancing within the clinic.

  6. We will only allow the patient scheduled for an appointment in the office.  However, if the patient is under 18, they may be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  The parent or guardian will also be screened prior to entering the clinic.

  7. Our office will continue to disinfect the office, including frames, in between each patient appointment and throughout the day as needed. Dr. Dinwiddie and staff will be wearing masks, practicing hand washing, and wearing gloves when appropriate. Dr. Dinwiddie and staff will also be screened, including a temperature check, each morning prior to patient care.

  8. If you would like to come in to look at glasses, please call or go online to schedule an appointment. This will help us to ensure a limited number of patients in our office at a time.

  9. If possible, we will be providing curbside pick-up for glasses and contact lens orders.

  10. Our clinic door will be locked at all times to ensure proper social distancing.  If you need assistance, please call the office at 479-903-7393

We appreciate your kindness and understanding as we navigate reopening during this time. As we begin seeing patients again, our policies may need to be adjusted. Please watch for our updates on social media, our website, and through your email. As always, please don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions! We can’t wait to see you!

Doctor Using Digital Tablet

We would like to let you know about a new service we are offering at Exclusive Eye. We are now able to offer telemedicine appointments! We are very excited to have this opportunity to continue to care for our patients from the comfort and safety of your own home.

There are certain types of appointments that can be done through telemedicine versus an in-office visit. This can be done to help reduce exposure and potentially the spread of COVID-19. If an in-office visit is needed, know that we are taking all necessary precautions, as directed by the CDC, to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff.  We are continuing to perform urgent and emergency eye care visits to reduce the need for a visit to the ER during this pandemic!

If you have an eye care need, call us at 479-903-7393 or send an email to  We are ready to help!
