COMPREHENSIVE
EYE EXAM
It's about more than blurry vision
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, Dr. Dinwiddie will test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes are functioning together, and more.
The eye health exam may be considered one of the most important parts of your comprehensive exam. Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam.

EMERGENCY EYE EXAM
Keeping you out of the ER
Contact our office immediately if you are experiencing an ocular emergency.
Here are some common situations that should be considered urgent:
Eye infections
Foreign objects in the eye, such as small shards of glass or metal
Cuts or punctures of the eye or eyelid
Chemical exposure causing pain or vision problems
Sudden vision loss or change in your vision
Scratches caused by foreign objects
Sudden onset of floaters or flashes of light

INFANTSEE EXAM
Protect their eyes for a lifetime
An InfantSEE assessment between 6 and 12 months of age is recommended to determine if an infant is at risk for eye or vision disorders. Since many eye problems arise from conditions that can be identified by an eye doctor in the infant's first year of life, a parent can give an infant a great gift by seeking an InfantSEE assessment in addition to the wellness evaluation of the eyes that is done by a pediatrician or family practice doctor.
